IASE or the International Association of Special Education

 

The IASE or the International Association of Special Education is an organization which is dedicated to the improving of quality of life of individuals who are categorized all individuals identified as having special needs.

The category of people targeted is

Teachers, teacher trainers, professors, speech clinicians, psychologists, health care providers, social workers, counselors, family members.

 

The main aim of this international organization is that it will aim to achieve

1) And promote professional exchange and interaction among special educators all over the world.

2) And develop special education as a discipline and profession

2) And encourage international cooperation and interchange and collaborative international research.

3) And promote continuing education of its members by organizing conferences in different countries around the world.

It holds a Biennial conference and for that is also give out the Marg Scapo scholarship.

In India it has been doing the below mentioned volunteer work

Serving children who live in poverty, rights may have been abused, street beggars, trafficked children, illiterate, homeless, emotionally troubled, drop-outs

 

Marg Scapo Scholarship

What is Marg Scapo Schlorship – This Scholarship has been founded in the name of the founding member of the IASE.

IASE was founded in 1989.

This scholarship is given for the conference attendees and includes the conference fees as well as the lodging costs.
