JEE is known to be the toughest entrance exam in the world and has been known to use the tough questions in the exam to weed out not so bright students. Courses offered are

The IIT JEE does not have the screening test as was the case from year 2000-2005. The syllabus is taken from the CBSE board class XII course. The IIT JEE exam was instituted 52 years ago. Qualification criteria for sitting in the Exam

Here are the two main criteria for sitting in the exam

The qualifying marks in the Entrance Test is 25% i.e. 40 out of a total 160. But, for students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed.

For MBBS or BDS admission

A candidate for admission to those courses must have obtained not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology taken together both at qualifying and EAMCET examination

AP EAMCET key 2009 for the EAMCET 2009 exam

Eamcet 2009 key for the basic answers of the written test held for engineering and Medical streams.
The answers will be given on 21 May, 2009.
The final key will be given out 28 May, 2009.
The reason for giving this key out has been the incorrect answers that were there and a lot of newspapers reported it.
Also there were students who were not allowed into the examination hall because they were late by a few minutes.

What is EAMCET?

Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Entrance test is conducted for students of Class XIIth of Andhra Pradesh.

This is a combined entrance test for admission into various engineering and medical colleges in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

No show for late comers

It seems that a lot of students were turned back from the examination halls when they came in late for the EAMCET exam in 2009.

That said the APSCHE or the AP State Council of Higher Education was readying a reply in response to SHRC or the State Human Rights Commission.

SHRC had asked the APSCHE regarding the disallowance of students from sitting in the exam even if they were late by one minute.

TOI reported that in total seven questions were of doubtful nature. A total of 3.6 lakh students sat in the entrance exam.

Alongwith the dates announced by CBSE for CBSE exam results there have been same announcement by ICSE or the Indian Council for Secondary Examination for the ICSE exam results 2009.

Readers should know that these result dates were not known as there was an issue with the conflict of dates of the general elections.

CBSE exam results for the class X and XII will be out on May20th, 2009.
The examinations were conducted in March and the results dates were not announced till now as the results date were put off because of the General Elections.

Now with Elections past that date there has been now a new statement from CBSE saying that the results will be announced on May 20th, 2009.

Here is the verbatim
"The senior secondary exam results of Chennai, Ajmer and Panchkula regions will be published on Wednesday. As many as 55,224 students have taken the exam from the Chennai region this year," said N Nagaraju, regional officer of the Central Board of Secondary Education"
